Over 230 Quality Properties throughout South Africa With Free & Easy, guests to the country can select from a range of quality stopovers, listed in our Free & Easy Guide. The range includes a selection of fine South African Hotels, B&B’s, Guest Houses, Lodges, Self-Catering establishments and National Parks Rest Camps. All accommodation is on a room only basis (no single supplement being applicable). The properties may vary in style, ambience and size, but all are committed to the traditions of a warm South African welcome and personal touch. Properties have the right to accept or reject a booking according to their availability.

How Does It Work?

Purchase the number of vouchers necessary. 1 Voucher = 1 Room for 1 Night |

Vouchers are valid for the period: 01 November – 31 October of each year |

Block out dates 15 December – 15 January of each year |

If required, the first night’s accommodation may be pre-booked well in advance at the negotiated Free & Easy rate. (Not applicable to South African National Parks) Free & Easy availability is at property discretion. |

From the second night ensure that all bookings are made between 72 & 24hrs prior to arrival at selected accommodation. |

To avoid possible disappointment, when requesting accommodation availability please state at the time of your request that you are travelling on Free & Easy. |

Payment

On arrival at selected accommodation, a single voucher (room only) must be handed over. It is imperative to collect an equal number of vouchers corresponding to a client’s length of stay. |

All extras such as tourism levies, child supplements, extra beds, meals and services must be settled directly with the property. |

The availability of triple and family rooms is limited and must be confirmed with the individual property. Maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children are allowed in a family room. |

One child sharing with one adult will be charged the adult (room) rate and a child in a separate room will be charged at full adult (room) rate. |

Child policy varies from property to property. |

Amendments & Cancellations

If the pre-booked first night’s stay is amended after confirmation, R100 administration fee will be levied. |

100% cancellation fee applies for no-shows. |
| • |
Unused, original open-dated vouchers are refundable at the place of purchase only but are subject to an administration fee of R500. |

Lost vouchers are not refundable. |
